How Placement Works
Pre-Screened Candidates Interview
At Magnolia Academy Nannies and Tutors, we believe that every family deserves to get the best fit the first time. Since our client's time is limited, we efficiently learn about your household or childcare needs, family dynamic, and what solution you are looking for. From our pre-screened candidate network, we introduce a minimum of three trusted, high-quality candidates for you to review and select for interviews. Each candidate will be presented with a comprehensive profile detailing their background. Once you review the candidates applications that are sent to you, we assist you to schedule a virtual interview with candidates, and if both parties feedback is positive we help you to schedule an-in person meeting with candidates of your choice. In-person meetings can take place either in a public place or at your house, whichever you prefer. We offer in -depth tips and guidance at each stage.


In-Home Trial
Once you have completed virtual and in-person interviews and narrowed down the candidates you wish to move forward with, we assist in scheduling a paid, in-home trial with your selected candidates. Prior to in-home trial both parties will be provided with agency's guidelines to insure a successful trial period.
An in-home trial allows both parties to see firsthand how the relationship works in your home. The trial period, with the goal of making a permanent hire, promotes clarity and understanding and helps ensure a wonderful match for everyone involved. In-home trial sessions last a few hours each, with up to three sessions available to facilitate a gradual introduction and a smooth transition. The minimum hourly rate for In-home trial is $25/hr.
Hire and Ongoing Support
Once you’ve decided to move forward with your preferred candidate, we remain by your side, supporting you every step of the way through onboarding to ensure a seamless and successful transition. We provide a sample legal work agreement for your review to assist you in extending an offer to your selected candidate, contingent upon the completion of a recent background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report.
With the agency’s ongoing support and onboarding resources, we are confident your selected candidate will be a strong, long-term match. In the unlikely event that a replacement is needed, we offer a one-year limited replacement policy. We remain available to support you after placement and are always happy to stay in touch.
